MACHINE CONSTRUCTION

BENEFITS   - Maximum speed of fabric feeding
A mechanical speed of 80/m/min can be reached thanks to the new loop formation system on the new sticks chain, specially studied for high speed operations.

- Modular construction
The AISI 430 stainless steel supporting plates have been designed to fit the ventilation modules on the new fabric capacities of 190, 330 and 470 mt which represent the basic machine lenghts. Intermediate fabric contents may be obtained anyway upon request.

- New loop formation system
The concept of new redesigned system is based on a special alloy profiled cam plate which manages the trotation of a stick pulley crank over it. The sticks receive a particulary smooth movement which facilitates the loop formation.

- Armstrong spray bar
The special installed device helps the loop formation in treatments and to eliminate electrostatic charges which should develop on particular kinds of fabric.
- Inlet hoods with wider cylinders
Vapo 2003 inlet hoods enjoy wider cylinders; their special mechenical construction improves the pulling force on fabric cloths. A special steam exaust eliminates the risk of condensation.

- 2k3 steam injection system
Water sprays have an improved atomization to accelerate the steam formation, allowing a better control of the temperature gradients inside the machine for satured steam treatments, also reducing water consumption.



DIFFERENTIAL DISTRIBUTION OF STEAM
 

The steam distribution inside the chamber must not be uniform, but concentrated in the front of the machine. The “games” take place in the first 5-6 loops: steam immediately condensates on the fabric. The exothermic reaction, due to steam condensation, to colours fixation and urea dissociation, takes place in a few seconds.
To reach this purpose, we have developed a special injection system, concentrating about the 70% of the overall steam in the front part of the machine.

This new system assures 3 main advantages:
- reduced steam consumption of about 30%
- urea concentration reduced of about 30-40% in the printing paste
- reduction of treatment time and consequently productivity growth.




AUTOMATIC CONTROL   Arioli steamers are equipped with a keyboard to program and check operative functions. With such a keyboard, connected to a PLC, the following functions may be managed:
- steady running - stop and rotation speed of steam exhausters
- steady running - stop and speed selection of recirculating fans
- steady running - stop and speed regulation of the selvedge expanders
- loop length adjustment
- working speed and time of treatment
- working process selection: saturated or superheated steam, hot air or cooling
- temperature selection and water consumption
After selecting the operating modes, it is possible to store them in a working recipe menu.
Also available are:
- a report where produced meters, working hours, stopping hours are shown
- an alarm menu to help troubleshooting
It is also possible to check the machine with ARIVISION special system.
