Flash
Ager is a steamer for two phase printing with a limited
fabric content for a short dwelling time.
In this case, the bath ratio is quite high,
in order to allow the fixation in a very short time
with an excellent penetration and tone uniformity in
the fabric.
Though operating with high humidity, printing contours
do not migrate because the fabric is uniformly wet both
on its face and on its back, thus preventing any migration
by capillarity.
The perfect colour fixation is obtained with a perfectly
distributed steam at a constant temperature in the steaming
chamber.
The constructive structure of Arioli Flash Ager, with
side cavity walls and outer superheater, definitely
fulfils these requirements.
The upside down steam circulation with a uniform and
continous motion prevents air inlet and assures a constant
exhaust of the gases developed by the colouring and
the chemicals used for the fixation, thus avoiding dangerous
gas concentration in the treatment steam.
FO2 pad mangle
The plant is completed by a chemical pad mangle composed
by two FO2 type horizontal cylinders, designed on purpose
for two phase treatments.
A chrome plated cylinder works on the face of the fabric,
while a viscoelastic rubber cylinder works on the back.
Special pneumatically actuated pistons assure a regular
and uniform squeezing.
A double impregnating tank allows the application of
chemicals by nipping or dipping under the rubber cylinder.
The liquor may alternatively be applied on the printed
side using the chrome plated roller. Two cleaning doctor
blades in special material are installed to keep the
chrome plated roller and the rubber one clean.
Indanthrene
dyes fixation
The absence of air in the steam and the installation
of the pad mangle right under the steaming chamber makes
our machine ideal for fixation on cotton and viscose.
The dwelling time of about 30 seconds at a temperature
of 130°C allows the production of about 1500 m/h
of fabric with the 12 m capacity machine.
Reactive dyes fixation
Reactive dyes fixation with two phase process is particularly
important for viscose and cotton prints, because such
process does not need urea.
The fixation requires about 15 seconds at 130°C
using silicate or carbonate in the pad mangle. The liquor
may be applied on the printed side using the chrome
plated roller, and the production rate obtainable with
a 12 m machine content is about 3000 m/h.
The special external heating system and the continuous
steam flow downwards makes infrared heaters unnecessary
for preheating fabric, ensuring a more economic and
practical process.
