Uniwash: tensionless washing

TENSIONLESS FABRIC TRANSPORTATION
The Uniwash machine has been designed on purpose for tensionless washing of fabrics. The particular type of trasportation, achieved with large diameter perforated drums, powered by constant torque motors with adjustable speeds, allows to work without tension, while a light and very reactive compensator element provides the synchronization of the working speed respect to the other parameters.

APPLICATIONS
Given the tensionless transportation features of the fabric, Uniwash may be used for the most various applications, on a wide range of fabrics:
- fabrics from 30 g up to 800 g/m2!
- woven fabrics
- wool scouring
- elastic fabrics
- opened tubular knits
- rectilinear knits
- raschel fabrics
- non wovens

FLEXIBILITY
Uniwash machine with independent tanks, each one fitted with its own recirculation pump, may be adapted to the most different working tasks.
A wide range of accessories may be installed according to productive needs, assuring a convenient solution to every washing need.

UNIWASH LINE:

Uniwash line is traditionally composed with:
- ET inlet element, with a centering expander element
- SAT 2 pre-washing tank
- SAT 2 soaping tank
- CAT 3 relaxing tank
- SAT 2 washing tank
- SAT 2 cold rinsing tank with a squeezing mangle
- UT outlet element

SAT 2 TANK
SAT 2 is a washing tank with 2 perforated drums having a diameter of 770 mm, driven by an inverter controlled A.C. motor, and fitted with:
- 2 water blades on the face of the fabric
- 2 water blades on the back of the fabric
- water recirculation pump for 200 m3/h flow, at 1 bar pressure driven by an A.C. motor
- direct steam heating
- 2 expander cylinders: one on the face and one on the back of the fabric
- synchronization dancing bar
- screen filter
- squeezing mangle loading from 2 to 8 T composed by 2 vertical rollers having a diameter of 230 mm, covered with synthetic rubber (70-80 Sh(A)) and driven by an inverter controlled A.C. motor.

Very high performance: water passage is allowed through the fabric, thanks to perforated drums, thus increasing performance and depth of the washing action.

ET - Inlet element with a centering expanding element
It is the device for the optimum introduction of any kind of fabric. It is composed by a couple of stainless steel spiral shaped selvedge expanders driven by a motor.
One of the 2 expanders is adjustable in order to increase or decrease the embracing angle of the fabric. A dancing device, composed by a frame with 2 rollers, provides the fabric centering; it is pneumatically actuated by a fabric edge sensor.

CAT 3 TANK
Designed with special technological features, it applies innovative solutions to improve the washing action:
- 2 driven conveyors, obliging the fabric to be treated in complete immersion, to assure a uniform result on its surface
- water centering and expanding device at tank outlet
- fabric regulation and control
- 2-8 T independent squeezing mangle
- high fabric capacity, up to 330 m (higher capacities upon customer’s request)!
Multifunctional, thanks to the time of immersion in the tank: relaxation, shrinkage, elasticity increment, swelling of the fabric and of the thickeners, weaving oils and glues during the scouring process.

UT – Outlet element
It is the device for the optimum extraction of any kind of fabric. It is composed by a plaiting device or by a batching device or by a synchronization dancing bar if in line with a dryer.
