A large quantity of cotton fabrics is printed with pigments. It is a relatively simple printing process which doesn’t requires steam fixation and wash off..
The pigment fixation on the fabric is achieved with the polymerization of the binding elements in hot air at 150°C.

Arioli PFL polymerizing machine is a special plant with a free loop transportation, designed to achieve a tensionless fixation of fabrics and jersey.

PFL is used for:
- curing of pigments on cotton or polyester
- curing of resins
- curing of flame retardants.

The machine is composed by a steel structure with highly insulating rockwool panels. The system is designed to avoid heat transmission towards a good insulating performance.

Ventilation is obtained through centrifugal fans with a recirculation power of 24000 m3/h of air per section. Air is distributed through shaped ducts in order to collect and drive all the possible oil or fuel condensation being developed in the segments to the outside ambient.

The fabric transportation is by free loop, to store up to 350 meters of fabric in the machine, and dispose of a relatively long polymerization time with a perfect colouring fixation, no yellowing effects, no fabric harshing and low energy consumption.

Special de-ionization bars are installed at the chamber inlet and/or outlet to reduce static electricity being developed on the fabric cloth.

Air heating may be obtained with steam or thermo oil batteries. Also the use of direct gas burners is foreseen.

Special exhausting fans drive air out constantly from the inside of the chamber, thus avoiding a humidity or gas saturation which may cause explosive mixtures.

It is possible to fit special steam injectors in the entry area, for special finishing effects.
