Free loops dryers are recommended for all those fabrics requiring a final soft touch and a regular dimensional shrinkage, in particular for silk, soft, delicate and traditional woven fabrics.

The loop dryer needs a relatively long drying time, in order to achieve water evaporation in a delicate and progressive way, with a low energy consumption.
The traditional way of transportation with free loops allows the maximum dimensional fabric shrinkage.
It assures a sweet and progressive drying action, that may be improved by increasing air recirculation to accelerate the drying of very hygroscopic and heavy fabrics.

AFL dryer is an excellent complement for preparation lines, especially for the treatment of delicate and synthetic fabrics.

The loop formation is obtained by means of blowers. The fabric transportation is on large diameter loop carrying sticks, driven by closed rings side chains.

Sticks are rotating to avoid marks problems.

Air ventilation is assured by 2 couples of side fans. The fresh air inlet, and the exhausted air outlet are conveniently positioned to allow the possible assembly of heat recovery exchangers incorporated in the same machine.

The machine construction is simple and strong at the same time: a steel structure supports the insulating panels, all the mechanisms for fabric inlet, loop formation, transportation and fabric outlet.

Convenient side piping, aerodynamically studied, conveys the air to the finned batteries, fed with steam, thermo oil or another fluid. It is also possible to warm the machine up with a direct gas burners.
