STEAMING
FOR COLOUR FIXATION
The high versatility of Arioli steam agers, together with the
high qualitative standards, allows their utilization in all
continuous production lines for the colour fixation processes.
In particular, the steam agers are very easy to be used on many
kinds of fabrics with different printing recipes and chemicals.
The know-how developed in 50 years of experience makes Arioli
the best technical choice for high quality fabrics manufacturers.
Applications examples:
- Printed colouring fixation on dry fabrics (ex. acid on nylon-lycra)
- Printed colouring fixation on wet fabrics (ex. basic on acrylic
blankets)
- Printed colouring fixation in two phase (ex. indanthrene on
military poly-cotton)
- Dyestuff fixation in two phase (ex. dyed indanthrene on poly-cotton
for overalls)
- Dyestuff fixation (ex. reactive on pad-dyed cotton)
- Dimensional shrinkage (ex. non wovens, elastic fabrics )
- Resins polymerization in hot air (ex. pigments on cotton).
FABRICS PREPARATION AND OPEN WIDTH WASHING
Washing machines are used in different working phases, thanks
to their productive efficiency:
- desizing
- scouring
- bleaching
- washing after dyeing
- washing after printing
The tanks composing our washing range may be used for the
following operations:
- impregnation
- pre-washing
- washing
- rinsing
- chemical treatment
Because of their tensionless transportation, Arioli washing
machines may be used on a wide range of fybres and fabrics:
- woven fabrics
- wool fabrics
- elastic fabrics
- circular knits (open)
- rectilinear knits
- raschel fabric
- non wovens
The fabrics weight may vary from 30 g to 800 g/m2.
DRYING AND POLYMERIZING
Arioli dryers and polymerizing machines may be always used
on different kinds of fabrics:
- knitted fabrics (open or tubular)
- woven fabrics
- elastic fabrics
- synthetic, natural or mixed fibres fabrics
- particularly delicate fabrics
- heavy or hygroscopic fabrics
With dryers and polymerizing machines, the following operations
may be carried on:
- drying after printing
- drying after dyeing (open or tubular fabrics)
- Polymerization of pigment prints on cotton or polyester
- Polymerization of resins and chemicals for finishing
- Polymerization of flame retardants.
